Refund Policy

Draft — not yet published
Before you launch: if you sell to consumers under South Africa's Consumer Protection Act, or to EU/UK consumers, there are mandatory cooling-off / distance-selling refund rights that can override a policy like this — have this checked by an attorney rather than relying on the template below.

1. Free trial

Every plan includes a free trial. You are never charged during the trial, and you can cancel before it ends at no cost.

2. 14-day money-back guarantee

If you upgrade to a paid plan and it's not right for you, email operations@zuvoai.co.za within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund of that payment — no questions asked. This guarantee applies once, to your first payment only.

3. Subscription charges after the guarantee period

Outside the 14-day guarantee above, subscriptions are billed in advance for the period you choose (monthly or annual) and renew automatically. Because you get immediate access to the Service for that period, renewal payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started — including for annual plans if you cancel partway through the year.

4. Other exceptions

We'll consider a full or partial refund at our discretion where: you were charged due to a technical error on our side, you were billed after correctly cancelling, or as required by consumer-protection law in your country.

5. How to request a refund

Email operations@zuvoai.co.za with your account email and the charge in question. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

6. Failed or disputed payments

If a payment fails, we'll retry it and may place your account on hold until it's resolved. If you dispute a charge directly with your bank instead of contacting us first, we may suspend your account while the dispute is investigated.
